Rob is an experienced Physiotherapist and qualified Exercise Physiologist with a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from Curtin University and double Bachelor degrees in Exercise and Sports Science and Exercise Science and Rehabilitation, as well as being a qualified Personal Trainer. With many years of clinical experience working in both Perth and Sydney, Rob is skilled in many speciality areas including dry needling and Pilates. He has also worked closely with athletes in sports such as swimming, AFL, MMA, power lifting and soccer.
Rob’s focal interest is in designing personalised rehabilitation and conditioning programs for numerous injuries and health issues, and he has a passion for educating his clients on body awareness, biomechanics, strength and conditioning and optimising performance through these key areas. He also has a keen interest in treating shoulder injuries, having completed courses in advanced athletic shoulder rehabilitation and also coming from a competitive swimming background and dealing with multiple shoulder injuries himself.
Rob enjoys swimming laps, surfing, running and strength training in his free time, and has recently relocated from Perth to the beautiful south west with his wife and young daughter to enjoy the great beaches and outdoor lifestyle the region has to offer.
Jordan is originally from San Francisco, California and completed her Masters Degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney. Jordan did her Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology, Pre-Physical Therapy from San Diego State University. Jordan was drawn to Australia’s beautiful beaches, lovely people, and active outdoor lifestyle. Jordan moved to Dunsborough in 2020! Jordan loves living a healthy, active lifestyle and enjoy running, Pilates, Barre, Biking, and Yoga. Jordan has experience working in orthopedic private practice and within the public hospital setting, Neurological rehabilitation, acute inpatient care and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Jordan believe’s movement is medicine and one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves.
Derek is a dual citizen of both Australia and Canada and has spent his life split between two countries. He may sound Canadian, but he’s just as Australian at heart! He completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy at Curtin University and has since had experience working in private practice and aged care in Perth. While in private practice, Derek was able to gain immense knowledge in holistic treatment methods for physiotherapy, as well as clinical pilates to compliment this treatment method.
In their free time, Derek and his wife enjoy mountain biking, surfing, playing hockey and rollerblading. Derek’s enthusiasm for activity is infectious and his passion encourages everyone to keep active!
Loulou is a qualified Physiotherapist and graduated from Curtin University. Loulou has worked doing pre and post-natal Physiotherapy and Pilates in Perth, Esperance, Torquay and on the Gold Coast! Loulou completed her Women’s Health Physiotherapy course run in Syndey in 2018 by the Women’s Health Training Associates. As a Physiotherapist in both the Hospital and private practice environment, Loulou has provided injury diagnosis, rehabilitation and prevention using evidence-based practices including clinical Pilates and dry needling. Loulou is a Perth girl, who loves the beach and often came to Dunsborough as a kid on family holidays. Loulou also has a Business Degree and co-founded the clinic with her husband Angus in 2018.
Demi is a qualified Physiotherapist who recently relocated to Dunsborough after spending the last 11 years in Perth. Demi grew up in the South West and has returned to the region to enjoy the relaxed, outdoor lifestyle.
Since graduating from Curtin University in 2015, Demi has worked in Perth gaining experience in both musculoskeletal private practice and orthopaedics, treating a wide range of conditions. Demi has a special interest in Women’s Health and has completed further study in this area through the Australian Physiotherapy Association. She has also completed courses in both Clinical Pilates and dry needling. Demi believes in using a combination of both manual therapy and exercise in her practice to help her patients not only reduce their symptoms, but gain long term benefits to live pain free, healthy lives.
Demi enjoys living an active lifestyle and loves the gym, pilates, good food and exploring the outdoors with her husband and their dog Marley.
Angus is a country boy who grew up on a beef farm on King Island, off the coast of Tasmania. Angus is our Practice Manager and previously played AFL for 9 years for Richmond and the Adelaide Crows. Angus is passionate about Health and fitness and has an in depth and personal knowledge of high-level performance training. Angus and his wife, Loulou co-founded 4Lane Physiotherapy together in 2018.
